    Lester C. Snyder PLYMOUTH - Services for Lester C. Snyder. 71. of 1216 N. Michigan. who died Thursday, were to have been at 2 p.m. today at the Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. James Campbell officiating.

    Burial was to have been in Memorial Park.

    He was born on Nov. 5. 1907, in Butler, but had lived in the Plymouth and Culver areas for the past 22 years and had operated Snyder Motor Sales.

    He was a member of the Culver United Methodist Church, the Plymouth Masonic Lodge, and the Lions Club.

    On Aug. 13, 1933, at Plymouth, he married Carol L. Jacox, who survives along with a daughter. Mrs. Carolyn Sizemore of Virginia Beach, Va.; two sons Jay and Sanford Snyder. both of Plymouth: four grandchildren; five sisters including Naomi Hieghen of South Bend, and Bessie Mae Hackbirth of Pierceton, and three brothers. - South Bend Tribune Sat, Dec 16, 1978 ·Page 4

    Carol L. Snyder PLYMOUTH - Services for Carol L. Snyder, 80, of Miller's Merry Manor, who died at 8:35 a.m. Saturday in the nursing home, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Johnson Funeral Home.

    Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

    Friends may call after noon Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Hospital, Indianapolis.

    Mrs. Snyder was born Sept. 12, 1905, in Plymouth, where she lived most of her lifetime.

    On Aug. 13, 1933, in Plymouth, she married Lester C. Snyder. He died Dec. 14, 1978.

    Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn Jones of Mishawaka; two sons, Jay of Plymouth and Sanford of Rochester; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Sanford Jacox of Plymouth.

    Mrs. Snyder had been a teacher in the Plymouth area.

    She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Tri Kappa Sorority and the Plymouth Order of the Eastern Star. The South Bend Tribune 1986 Aug 24 Page 61
