Grothaus Family

Grothaus Family Leaving Friday For Arizona Mr. and Mrs. Donald Grothaus and family are leaving Culver this week to make their home in Phoenix, Ariz.

They came to Culver from Fort Wayne in 1950 when Don Grothaus and Don Liniger purchased the Cloverleaf Dairy which they operated for four years.

Since that time Don has worked as a saleman and for the past two years with the Zechiel Farm Service.

In 1957 they built the Culver Skating Rink which they operated for two years and later leased for a year.

The Grothaus family are members of the Grace United Church of Christ. Don is a member of the Masonic Lodge and both he and his lovely wife, Pat, have been very active in the Eastern Star, having served as worthy matron and worthy patron of the Culver chapter of that organization.

They sold their home on West. Jefferson Street recently to Mrs. Herman A. Knoerzer, who will take possession Saturday.

Their plans for the future are indefinite but Don plans to continue in sales work.

The Grothauses and their sons, Tom, Jim, Billy, and Steve will be greatly missed here but we wish them good health and much happiness in their new home
