    6 Aug 1903 Maxinkuckee Snipets Culver Citzen John J. Twiname, wife and son arrived at the lake Saturday and opened their cottage in Indianapolis row.

1908 - Apr 2 - Fred Gampy of Indianapolis is building a cottage near the Indianapolis pier to cost from $600 to $1000 Ferrier & Son have the contract for the materials..

1908 - May 7 - Fred Gompf of Indianapolis commenced work on a cottage on his lake frontage on the former VanShoiak farm, and may consider to build two more.

1909 - Feb 15 - Fred Gompf residence 2,000

1918 - Jul 3 - Mr. and Mrs Fred Gompf who have occupied their new brick house since last fall, opened their two cottages fronting on the lake for roomers the first of the week..

    Gompf's Hotel or Gompf's Boarding House

    Was located on the near the end of East Shore Lane not far from the Bay View the Gompf's owned three cottages . One was used as their personal residence; the other as the kitchen and dinning room and the other cottage was divided up into 8 to 10 rooms.
