Anderson - Bettie J. Riggs Kramer, 86, Anderson, passed away March 24, 2012 at Millers Merry Manor-Chesterfield.

She was born September 5, 1925 in Muncie, Indiana, and resided in Anderson, Goshen and Culver, Indiana

Bettie was a graduate of Anderson High School.

She retired from the Telephone Company and worked also in an antique business.

Bettie was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She loved animals and the Madison County Humane Society, was an avid reader and liked word search puzzles.

She is survived by her two sons, Stephen Roby and Bruce Roby; loving friends, Elaine Lugo and Joanne, Joe, and Paul Pocaro and family; many special friends and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gabert "Gabe" Kramer; and parents, Clifton and Doris Brotherton Riggs.

A special thank you to the staff at Miller's Merry Manor for their compassionate care.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 10:30 AM, at St. Mary's Catholic Church; 1115 Pearl Street; Anderson, with Rev. Robert Williams officiating.

Cremation will take place.
