Rea William Wolfram, 1625 Southwood Dr., died at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Memorial Hospital
after an illness of several days.
He was born in Starke County, Indiana June 12, 1890, and had lived in South Bend 13 years,
coming here from Walkerton.
Ono May 17, 1922 in Monterey, Ind. he married Evelyn Robinson, who survives.
Mr. Wolfram formerly was manager of the Walkerton Lumber and Coal Co., and was a founder and
president of the Builder's Store., Inc.1319 Mishawaka Ave.
Other survivors are two sons, William and Paul R., both of South Bend; a brother Claude of
South Bend and four sisters Mrs. O. H. Smith and Mrs. Clyde Bohl of Appleton, Wis. and Mrs.
Fred Robertson, of Ames, Ia.
Mr. Wolfram was a member of the First Methodist Church; South B end Lodge 294 F.&A.M.; the
Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of South Bend; the Orak Temple, Hammond; the Rotary Club; Post
50, American Legion, and the Low Twelve Club.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Welsheimer Funeral Home and until noon Monday when
the body will be taken to the First Methodist Church to lie until services there at 2 p.m.
Monday. Rev. Kenneth R. Hemphill, Pastor will officiate
