    Harry P. Scott dies at Age 85 After illness

    Harry P. Shore Drive Scott, 2255 Fast Culver , died at 11 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, at the Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, following a 10-day illness, he was 85 years of age.

    Mr. Scott was formerly general secretary of the Y.M.C.A. in Fort Wayne, Greensburg, Ind., and Springfield, Ill. He retired 13 years ago from the Curtis Candy Company in Chicago where he was personnel director.

    He was a member of the First Methodist Church in Fvanston, Ill., and a past master of Veritas Masonic Lodge at Indianapolis. Survivors include his wife, Lula M.; a daughter, Mrs. Phillip B. Schnering of Baltimore, Md.; a son. Dr. H. Vaughn Scott of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; two g r e a t - grandchildren; and a brother, Orville R . Scott, Eau Claire, Wis.

    The Chalfant-Perry-Klaehn Funeral Home, 24 2 3 Fairfield Ave.Fort Wayne, was in charge of arrangements, where services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, with the Rev. Charles Amstein officiating.

    Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. the same day at the Gravel Lawn Cemetery at Fortville, Ind., where interment was made. The Culver Masonic Lodge officiated at the graveside services. >
