"Gus" Churchill Sr., Nov. 21, age 84, late of Flossmoor, husband of the late Dorothy McCoy Pierce Churchill and Bonnie Cooper Brown Churchill; dear father of Mary Ann Churchill of Homewood and August Charles (Doris) Churchill Jr. of Park Forest; grandfather of four; great-grandfather of two; preceded in death by four sisters and eight brothers.

Life member of Avalon-Damascus Lodge #888 AF&AM, Life Member of Hialeah Court and Past Grand Royal Patron Order of Amaranth of the State of Florida, Alamanda Chapter OES in Florida.

Co-Founder with Glenn H. White and later joined by George A. Belford of the Central Time Inspection Co., at 1423 E. 63rd St. from 1933 to 1974 and at 18067 Dixie Hwy. from 1974 to present.

Resting at the Tews Funeral Home, 18230 S. Dixie Hwy., from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 9 p.m. Friday.
