Section 27 History 1835-1922

1922 - H. L. Henning

    H. L. Henning has sold his bungalow opposit the railroad station to Berrt E. Grandee, chef at the Plamer house, for $4600 and will give possession Nov.1 Mr. Henning has also sold a East side lake lot to Wesley E. Shea of Indianapolis for $1000. Mr. Henning will at once commence building operations on his lot on Lobery street in the Vandalia Park addition. He will put ip a bungalow in harmony with the construction which prevails in that section. The Keen agency made the sale for Henning.


1922-1942 - Wesley E Shea

1932, Jaunary 5 - Relocation of East Shore Lane.
    H. H. Rice and Edith B. Rice bought farm land from Marvin T, Loudon and Clara L. Loudon which was evetually used to relocate East Shore Lane and give Rice Woods to the East Shore Lane Association, dated October 4,1927. Subsequenly, Rice by quit claim deed acquired all the properties in the attached plat, on January 5, 1932, recorded the plat on the same date. Rice then by quit claim reconveyed the properties to their original owners
Shea - owned the property as noted on the plat map; the second is annotaed with current addresses.
