1931 - Jun 3 - Mr. and Mrs. C. O. Lansor and daughter have arrived from Miami, Florida after spending the winter there. The Lansors have purchased the cottage formerly owned by W. B. Paul. of Indianapolis.

Charles O. Lanzer
    Charles O. Lanzer, builder, son of William and Priscilla Lanzer, was born at Denver, Co. September 4, 1873. His father was a well known builder and contractor in that place and was a very successful business man.

    Mr. Lanzer, the subject of this sketch, came to New York City in 1900 where he engaged in moving picture film business. After successfully conducting it fir seven years, in 1907 he disposed of his interests and became interested in building and and the development of Real Estate.

    He is now interested in the William J. Nixon Company of No. 481 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn.

    In May, 1902, Mr. Lanzer married Miss Hattie F. Fisher of New York City. They reside at No. 167 West Thirty-fourth Street New York City

    Charles Ora Lanzer, 69, a resident of Miami for 20 years, died Friday at his home, 247 N. E. 31st st.

    He came here from West Orange, N. J. Lanzer is survived by his widow, Mrs. Marian Lanzier; a daughter, Miss Betty Jane Meairs, both of Miami, brother, William Lanzer, City, Tenn.

    Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a. m. in the Philbrick Colonial Funeral home chapel, with the Rev. C. G. Johnstone, pastor of Central Presbyterian church, officiating.

    Mrs Harriet Lanzer Dies Suddenly Here On Saturday Night

    Stricken with apoplexy at the home of her sister, Mrs. Edward Gobel, 1139 Eastman street, Saturday night, Mrs. Harriet Lanzer, aged 50, died in Bethesda hospital two hours afterwards without regaining onsciousness.

    Mrs. Lanzer and her husband Charles O. Lanzer, had been visiting here for the past few days.

    SHe appeared in her usual health when stricken, and death came suddenly.

    Mrs. Lanzer made her home in West Orange, N. J. and in Miami, Fla.

    Surviving are the husband; two sisters: Mrs. Edward Gobel at the home here. Mrs. Louise Taylor of New York; a brother C. C. Fisher of Sonora; a nephew, Carl Harper, city; a niece Mrs. C. I. Robinson, Wakeman; four aunts: Mrs. Caroline Yost Parkersburg, W. Va.; Mrs. J. C. McAuley, Mrs. Clare Smith and Mrs. Mat Rose, of Woodsfield.

    She was a member of the Methodist Church.

    The body was removed from the Trimmer funeral home Sunday afternoon to the Gobel home 1139 Eastman street. Funeral arrangements are incomplete
