      Was Reident of Chicago, but Formerly of Indianapolis; Spent Summers at Culver.

      The summer colony and his many firneds in Culver will regret to learn of the death of Otis Hann, 56 years old, of Chicago, last Tuesday, April 24, at Hot Springs, Ark.

      Mr. Hann was well known in Indianapolis, having been in the insurance business there and a resident for forty years. He awas born in Indianapolis and lived more than twenty years at 2645 North Meridian Street

      He was one of the early members of the Columbia Club and was a member of the Elks club there. He aslo was c charter member of he Midland Club at Chicago and was president of the Otis Hann Company, an insurance organization.M

      Mr Hann had been a member of the old Indianapolis light artillery and prarticipated in Gen. Miles expedition to Porto ZRico in the SPanish-America was as a member of the 27th battery of volunteers, which was compsed almos exclusively of Indianapolis men.

      At the time of his death he made his home in Chicago and for about 10 or twelve years had maintained a summer home at Lake Maxinkuckee,where he was well known and had a wide circle of friends.

      The widow, Mrs. Otis Hann, 2650 Lakeview avenue, Chicago, who is just completeing a trip around the workd, is sailing for the United States from Japan and is believed to be on the Pacific ocean. SHe is expected to land in this country May 10.


      SUrvivin besides the widow are a daughter, Mrs Edwin C. McDOnald of Winnetka, Ill. and a sone Jack Roberts Hann of Chicago.

      The body was brought to Indianapolis from Hot Springs where he had gone for his health.

      Burial was in the Crown Hill cemetery. - May 2 1928 - Citizen

      Mrs. Otis Hann Passed Away Monday at Hosptial

      Mrs. Otis Hann, aged 57 years well known East Side cottager, who has been coming to the lake for many years, died Monday afternoon at the South Bend hospital where she was take Sunday evening.

      Mrs. Hann has been in poor health for some time and a recent automobile accident is believed to have aggregated the condition.

      Funeral Services will be held in Indianapolis - 25 Sep 1929 Culver Citizen

Mrs. Otis Hann Slips and Fractures Ankle

Last Thursday afternoon as Mrs. Otis Hann, well known East Side Lane cottager, was going to join her children who were swimming in the lake, she slipped on the corner of the proch of her cottage and fell, breaking her ankle. Upon the recommendation of her doctor, she has gone to a Chicago hospital to recover. Mrs. McDonald who was with her at the time of the accident, has gone to Chicago with her. Mrs. Hann's physician considers the fracture a serious one. - 25 Jul 1928

Mrs Otis Hann, Cottager Injured in Auto Accident

Mrs. Otis Hann, well known East Side cottager, was considerably brusied last Wedensday morning when her large car, driven by a chauffer, turned over in the ditch between Culver and Plymouth.

The accident occured while passing another automobile when the car left the road and crashed into the ditch.

Mrs. Hann is in the Plymouth hospital, but her condition is not at all serious as she is suffering mainly from the shock. The chauffer escaped injury. - 1929
