Donna Louise Edgington, 91, of 286 South Shore Drive, died Friday in
her home.
She was born on Jan. 19, 1913, in Culver, to the late Claire (McLane)
and Charles Medbourn. She married Harry D. Edgington on June 16, 1935,
in Culver, and he preceded her in death on March 25, 1989.
She had been a homemaker and a resident of Culver since 1932, coming from
Logansport, Ind. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Culver.
Survivors include four sons, Charles (Judy) Edgington and Rodney (Terri)
Edgington, both of Culver, Fred (Peggy) Edgington of Harrodsburg, Ky., and
Philip (Andrea) Edgington of Clermont, Fla.; a daughter, Sherrill (Tom)
Fujimura of Culver; seven grandchildren, a great-grandchild, four
step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren; and a sister,
Merilyn Herrmann
of Culver.
Services entrusted to Bonine Funeral Home.

HARRODSBURG - John Frederick "Fred" Edgington, age 77, of Harrodsburg, husband of
Peggy Edgington, died 11:28 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015 at his home.
Born, Sept. 15, 1938 in Argos, he was the son of the late Harry D. Edgington and
Donna Medbourn.
He was a Christian, a graduate of Rose Hulman Polytechnic Institute in Terre Haute,
helped start a polyethylene plant in Texas, worked on lighting projects for the
Apollo Space Program at General Electric in Cleveland, Ohio, was a Quality Manager
and an Advanced Project Quality Engineer, helped start production on halogen head
lamps at General Electric Lexington Lamp Plant where he retired, and had hobbies of
organic gardening, hiking, and playing the violin and guitar.
Other survivors include a son, Timothy Jay Edgington of Chicago, Ill.; a sister,
Sherrill Fujimura of Culver; two brothers, Charles and Rodney Edgington both of
Culver and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother Philip Edgington.
A private service will be held at a later date.
The family requests no flowers and suggests that memorial contributions be

Philip Allen Edgington, 62, Clermont, took the hand of Jesus on March 4, 2013
at home.
He was born June 6, 1950 in Rochester, Indiana to Donna Medbourn and Harry D
Edgington.
He became a huge fan of the Miami Hurricances while attending the University
of Miami, and was still very much a "U" fan.
Phil met his wife Andrea while in Miami, and has been a local resident since 1974.
He was a local owner/contractor, loving father and husband, and an active member
of Real Life Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Andrea Edgington, daughter Lauren Edgington
of St. Pete Beach, and son Adam D Edgington & wife Tamara of Clermont, and “Papa”
to grandsons Brandon and Kyle. Phil is also survived by brothers Charles, Fred and
Rodney Edgington, sister Sherrill Fujimura of Culver Indiana.
Arrangements are:
The funeral service for Philip A. Edgington will be held at 2:30 PM on Thursday, March
7, 2013 at Real Life Christian Church, 1501 Steve's Road, Clermont.
Reverend John Wilson will officiate.
Private burial for the family will follow in Clermont at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church.
