Robert "Bob" Breyfogle

Eugene Robert Breyfogle Birth July 12, 1935 Garry Lake County, Indiana Death February 19, 2026 son of Harold Breyfogle and Sarah Berrell

Eugene Robert Breyfogle, 90, passed away peacefully at his home on February 19, 2026 after a brief illness. The son of Harold and Sarah (Berrell) Breyfogle, Bob was born on July 12, 1935 in Gary, IN.

After graduating from Crown Point High School in 1953, Bob went on to honorably serve in the United States Air Force.

Bob married Doris J. Dooley on March 25, 1961 in Crown Point, IN.

Bob dedicated 23 years to the City of Culver Water Department. He also managed the Radiation Lab at Notre Dame for 10 years.

Bob is survived by his wife of 64 years, Doris; children, Karen (Salvatore) LaDuca, Scott (Kathryn) Breyfogle, Kathryn (Paul) Sommerfield, and David Breyfogle.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Sarah; grandchildren, Brandon Keller and Andrew LaDuca; and sister, Joan Berrell-Heidbreder.

Bob will be laid to rest at Culver Masonic Cemetery in Culver.
