The interesting value of lake front property in Indiana is forcibly brought
to mind by an action in the Fulton Circuit court where a partition suit is
being tried involving forty acres of land on the south shore of Lake
Maxinkuckee, near Culver.
For farm purposes the land would not sell for $199 an acre, but because it
has some shoreline verious witnesses appraise the land at from $1,500 to
$2,500 per acre. - Monticello Journal (Indiana)
