    Rupert P. Esser, 87 of 324 S. Shore Dr., died at 5:20 a.m. Tuesday in Westlake Community Hospital, Melrose Park, Illinois.

    Born Oct. 22, 1903 in Elberfield, Germany, he was the son of Maxamillian and Ria Esser. On Apr. 10, 1932, he was married in Findlay, Ohio to Geraldine Andrus, who died Oct. 24, 1987.

    He had lived at Lake Maxinkuckee for several years, coming ot the community from Logansport, whre he retired as an engineer with Pec-Hackett.

    He was a member of St. Thomas, Episcopal Church in Plymouth.

    Surviving are two daughters, Ruth Ria Kaspar, Phoenix, AZ and Erika Shorney, River Park, IL., six grandchildren and one granddaughter.

    Services will be held at 2 pm Friday in St. Thomas Episcopal Church of Plymouth with the Rev. John Schramm officiating. Burial will be in Washington Cemetery, Culver.

    Rupert was an avid sailor and was Commodore of the Maxinkuckee Yacht Club in 1968. - Pharos-Tribune Logansport, IN Wednesday, Jan. 16, 1991

    Geraldine R. Esser, 81 224 E. SHore Drive, died at 7 a.m. Saturday in Hholfy Cross Parkview Hhopsital, Plymouth after a shoret illneww.

    SHe was born Sept 19 1906 in Auburn to Edwin and Katherine Trombley Andrus.

    She married Apr. 10 1932 Findley, Ohio to Rupert R. Esser, who survives.

    She had lived on Lake Maxinkuckee many years coming from Logansport

    SHe was a member of St Thomas Episcopal CHurch in Plymouth.

    Surviving are two daughters RuthRia Kasper, Phoenix, AZ and Erika Shorney, River Park, IL., six grandchildren.

    Two brothers preceded in death

    Services will be held at 11 a.m. at St Thomas Episcopal CHurch with the Rev. John Schramm officiating.

    Burial will be in Washington Cemetery, Culver.
