Mary G. "Tiny" Wildes, 87 of Culver, Indiana, died at 10:55AM on November 5, 2010 at Miller's Merry Manor in Culver, Indiana.

Tiny was born to Vincent Roppolo and Lina Rizzo on October 27, 1923 in Gary, Indiana. She graduated from Emerson High School. She was married on November 24, 1945 at St. Anthony's Rectory in Gary to Charles "Ted" Wildes. Together they raised 5 children. Ted preceded her in death in 1999.

Tiny was a member of St. Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church in Culver, Indiana. She was as a very good cook. Mary will be greatly missed by many.

Tiny is survived by her sons - Terry (Janice Ritz) Wildes of Crown Point, Indiana, Tim (Susan) Wildes of Warsaw, Indiana, and Kevin (Sherri) Wildes of South Bend, Indiana, daughters - Sue (Danny) Deneen of Noblesville, Indiana, and Paulette (Bill) Shaw of Chicago, Illinois, 12 Grandchildren - Emily, Austin, Danielle, Jason and Nathan Wildes, Alice (Mike) Dominguez, and Kaley and Rory Deneen, Harry (Angella) Pierce, Thaddeus Pierce & fiance Esther White, Molly (Drew) Wilkerson, and Melissa Wildes (Bret) West, 5 Great Grandchildren - Connor, Quinn, Fin, and Annora Mae Pierce, and Caleb West, 1 Sister and 2 Brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.


A time to share memories with Tiny's family will be at the Odom Funeral Home, Culver, Indiana on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010 from 1:00 - 4:00 PM EDT. There will be no funeral services.     CULVER - Charles T. "Ted" Wildes, 72, of 32 Venetian Village Road, died at 8:45 p.m. Monday in Miller's Merry Manor.

    Survivors include his wife, Mary G. (Roppolo); two daughters, Susie Deneen of Noblesville, Ind., and Paulette Wildes of Chicago; and three sons, Terry of Crown Point, Ind., Tim of Hobart, Ind., and Kevin of South Bend. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Mary's of the Lake Church.

    Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Bonine Funeral Home, where a wake service will be at 8 p.m.


Children: Susie Wildes
    Susan Wildes Deneen, age 58 of Noblesville, passed away on December 3rd, 2017. She was born to the late Charles "Ted" and Mary "Tiny" Wildes on June 23, 1959 in Gary, Indiana.

    Susie was a graduate of Culver High School and Ball State University where she majored in French and Spanish.

    She was married August 3rd, 1985 at St. Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church in Culver, Indiana.

    She started her career as a foreign language teacher at Wheeler High School in Portage, Indiana and went on to teach at Carmel Clay Schools for 30 years. Susie also volunteered as a cheerleading coach for a number of years.

    She loved painting, traveling, singing along to her favorite musicals, and all things summer. She was an avid Butler Bulldogs and Colts fan.

    Susie is survived by her husband, Daniel Deneen; and her two daughters, Kaley and Rory Deneen, and Rory's fiancé, Brandon Craft. She also leaves behind her brothers, Terry Wildes (Janice Ritz), Tim Wildes (Susan Wildes), and Kevin Wildes (Sherri Wildes); her sister, Paulette Shaw (Bill Shaw); along with numerous loving relatives and friends.
