1906 - Mar 15 - I. Hessel bought two lots corner Main and Mill street of J. W. Cromley. He is filling them up and may build in the near future. 1906 - Dec 6 Isadore Hessell has been having foundation stones hauled for his South Main Steet lots for the house his going to build in the spring 1907 - Mar 28 - Henry Buckheister is preparing plans for a nine-room house for Issadore Hessel to be erected this spring on South Main St. The building will be of wood construction and will cost not less than $2,000 and will be modern in all respects

1910 - Oct 6 Isadore Hessel had traded his new house on Main Street to M. S. Hopper of Gary for a 73 acre farm north of Burr Oak.

1914 - Jul 16 - Residence Property Bought Cheap - William Hollet has bought of Dr. Hopper pf Gary the Main Street residence property known as the Isadore Hessel place, and will move into it this week. The consideration is not made public, but it is under $2500. The house cost Hessell $4,500 and the lot is worth around $1,000. Mr. Hollett will make some necessary repairs, but at that he is credited with having struck a bargin.

HOLLETT WILL CASE VENUED.
Clarence Hollett et al through their attorney Harley Logan of Plymouth, filed suit against Asa Hollett et al in the local court Tuesday morning, in an attempt to break the will of the late William Hollett who lived in Culver.

The case was venued here from Marshall county circuit court. Hollett et al did not believe that they could obtain a fair trial in that county because of prejudice.

The case involves money and property to the value of $15,000.

By the will of the late William Hollett he left his entire estate to his brother Asa of Three Oaks, Mich., and a nephew, Ray Hollett, a son of a brother Michael and excluded Clarence, John, Eloise and Caroline Hollett who were the children of Jay Hollett, another brother of William.

The plaintiffs state that William Hollett the uncle was of unsound mind when he executed the will and that it was unduly executed and are suing for what they declare is their rightful share of their deceased uncle's estate. - Rochester Sentinel. - - The Culver Citizen Wed, Mar 10, 1920 ·Page 1
