James Kimbrough's father George C. Kimbrough Columbus George C. Kimbrough, 86, of Columbus died
at 6:30 p.m. Thurs day, March 28, 2002, at Four Seasons Healthcare Center.
He moved to Columbus in 1998 from Logansport, where he owned and operated a drug store.
He was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, Elks Lodge, Noon Kiwanis and Exchange Club, all
in Logansport.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. April 20 at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Logansport,
with the Rev. Doug Mankell officiating. Calling will be at Bigler Hall following the service.
Private burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Calvary Presbyterian Church,

Mr. Kimbrough was born Dec. 18, 1915, in Logansport, the son of James M. and Junette Zartman Kimbrough.
He married Dorothy Ann Merkert Aug. 10, 1947, at Logansport. She died June 6, 1983.
Survivors include a son, James M. Kimbrough of Columbus; a daughter, Carolyn Craig of Scottsdale, Ariz;
grandchildren: Josh and Kimberly Craig and AMy and Jeff Kimbroughg; and a brother Dt. Robert Kimbrough of

Dorothy Ann Kimbrough, 68, 218 Eel River Ave.. died early this morning in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born in Stark County, May 14, 1915, to John and Flossie Piper Merkert.
She was married to George Kimbrough, who survives.
he was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church and a past president of the First Mothers Study Club.
Also surviving are a son, James. Columbus: a daughter, Carolyn Craig, Fort Wayne; a brother, Robert, Rochester;
a sister, Madeline Burk, 77 W. Roselawn Dr.; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
