Dr. David Garberm Summer Resident, Dies at Peru

Dr. David R. Garber, 67, long-time summer resident of Lake Maxinkuckee at 394 South Shore Drive DIed at his Perus home Saturday night of a heart attack while watching television

Dr. Garber, a graduate of the Northwestern University School of Denistry, had practiced in Peru since 1918. He was a former president of the Perus ROtary Club and served as treasurer of the Methodist church. He as a native of Butler, Ind.

Dr. Garber built the first cottage in the new Schilling addition

He is survived by his wife Leila; a daughter Mary Jane at home; another daughter Mrs. Herman Nieswander, Huntington and three grandaughters. - June 22 1955- Citizen
