Dr. Harold R. Keegan, 72, of Kankakee, physician and surgeon who had been on the staff at Riverside Medical Center and Provena St. Mary's Hospital since 1968, died Wednesday (Feb. 27, 2002) at Riverside Medical Center emergency room.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at the Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home, Bourbonnais, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday. Rev. Dennis Settles officiate.

Dr. Harold R. Keegan, age 72, of Kankakee, IL, beloved husband of Bonnie, nee Borchers; dear father of Harold III (Shannon), Christopher Keegan, Kimberly Keegan and Deirdre Keegan; loving brother of Jeanne Burke and Joan Keegan.

Dr. Keegan was a longtime physician and surgeon in the Kankakee area.

Retired Commander for Medical Corps in the Naval Reserve, on the National Board of Medical Examiners and American Board of Neurological Surgery, Chicago Neurosurgical Society, American College of Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons.

Funeral Services on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Homes, 295 Main St. NW, Bourbonnais, IL.

Visitation on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery, Washington, DC
