John Robert Voigt 57, Fishers, departed this life on January 7, 2007 He was born June 28, 1949 to Robert A. and Joan Casey Voigt. John was a 1967 graduate of Broad Ripple High School. He earned his B.A. from Taylor University, then his M.T.S. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and, to conclude his educational experience, he earned his Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Butler University. He was a board member of The Starfish Initiative. John is survived by his wife, Alise Voigt; children, Carrie and Joseph Voigt; brother, Tom Voigt; sisters, Susan Hall and Peggy Jacobs; and step-mother, Kathy Feeser Voigt. Funeral service will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday January 10 in The Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to The Starfish Initiative or to Community Home Health Services - Hospice Program.
