Culver Elbert W. Grahan, 82, of Miller's Merry Manor, formerly of 444 Lake St/, died at 11:50 a.m. Monday in the nursing home.

Mr. Graham was born June 1, 1902 in Greencastle, Indiana.

He niced to the Culver area in 1925 from Greencastle.

On June 20, 1929, in Knox he married Edna Andrews. She died in 1973

Survivors include three daughters: Jane Smith, Gewn Hoseel and Nancy Baker all of Culver; nine grandchildren; for great-grandchildren; and two sister: Cleta Gray of Indianapolis and Viola Arnold of Amo, Ind.

Mr. Graham retired in 1972 from Culver Military Academy, where he was a chef.

He was an Army veteran of World War I

He was past master of H. H. Culver Lodge 617 F. & AM, part worthy patron of Emily Jane Star and a ember of the Scotich Rite.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bonine Duneral Home.

Grave side services will be conducted by members of the H. H.Culver Lodge 617 in Culver Masonic Cemetery. Friends. may call after 2. p.m. Wednesday at the funderl home.

John David HOESEL, 84, Culver, died at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday, at Kindred Hospital in Mishawaka.

He was born in Culver on May 7, 1929 to Evert and Sadie (Carter) Hoesel.

He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn "Gwen" Hoesel of Culver; sons, David Graham Hoesel of South Bend, Frederick Allen Hoesel of Culver; daughter, Sara Elizabeth (John) Bean of Lebanon; sister, Sandra (John) Middleton of Culver; daughter-in-law, Mary Hoesel of Bass Lake; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, James Hoesel.
