Asa Pollenbarger, 71, Former Local Resident, Expires At Evansville

Asa Pollenbarger, 71, who formerly operated the old Vandalia restaurant here with his father, Frank, died Friday aflernoon at 1:40 at his home, route 3, Whetstone Road, in Evansville, Ind. He had been ill health since a a heart attack last August. His marriage in 1909 was to Bertha Ritter of this cily, who survives, with two daughters: Mrs. Melvin Bauman, Evansville; Mrs. Wilda Rose Watson, Bradenton, Florida; two granddaughters; two nieces, Mrs. Howard Schmidt and Mrs. Robert Kiesling of this city.
