Eugene "Gene" Miller, 64, of Plymouth, IN passed away peacefully at home with his family on May 8, 2011, at 7:16 PM.
Gene was born on Feb. 9, 1947 in Quicksand, Kentucky, one of 5 children born to Grover and Helen (Conley) Miller.
After graduating college, Gene proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Gene later fell in love and married Wanda Warren Davis on Aug. 28, 1980 in Culver. She survives.
Gene was an Engineering Supervisor for McGill Corporation in Culver from 1969 – 1985, then transferring to Valparaiso when the
Company became EPT/McGill, retiring after 39 years with the company.
Gene loved to fish, play golf, and go snowmobiling. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Gene is survived by his wife Wanda Miller of Plymouth, Stepdaughters Lynn (Wes) Lucas and Leslie (Kerry) Fisher both of Plymouth
and Lauri (Joe) Manikowski of Argos; brothers Dave (Sandy) Miller of North Judson, IN, and Beckham (Martha) Miller of Ottuma, Iowa;
sisters Charlotte (John) Conley and Deb (Charles) Craft both of Knox, IN and 9 Grandchildren.
