Section 16 History 1835-1922 This property for years was the railroad right-of-way and a cinder access road to Washington St. from Jefferson St. and an access ran along the lake edge between the railroad tracks .

On 29 Jul 1976 the 32 mile long track between Logansport and Culver was abandoned

John J. Deery and the Harbour management had acquired the property for the Harbour project originally it is believed and was probably sold off when financial troubles hit.

This was basically for years "railroad property". This was one of the several "lake access" that June (Garn) Napier Jackson Sirus and others fought to keep under the control or bring back under the control of "The town of Culver" so citizens would have immediate access to the lake - others included E. Washington; Winfield and Daviess Streets - but all efforts failed.

In 2005 they sought a judicial review over placing of piers by Bayside and Harbour. They were involved in a pier dispute - Roberts v. Beachview Properties, LLC, et al., 9 CADDNAR 163 (2004) [VOL. 9, PAGE 163] Cause #: 04-078W; Roberts v. Beachview Properties, LLC, et al., 10 CADDNAR 125 (2005) [VOLUME 10, PAGE 125]

2010 The Roberts acquired a land lock traingled shape property that the town of Culver owned
