559 West Shore
Section 28 History 1835-1922
At one time listed as 559 W. Shore, now as - reverted back to being listed with
no street/road number
1976 - The Pennsylvania Railroad
track was abandoned and lot owners on South Street and the west side of the lake purchased
the right-of-way between their property and the lake.
This is the way the area looked pre 1980's before the railroad bed
was leveled off to near road level.

In back of it is the
Busart property of 63.01
acres which is farm land and a portion of it was a gravel pit of which the small lake or pond
was a result. This property is still in descendants names under Denise Runhow etal. A; this
ground in this area +probably belong to the Busart's
.
On 29 Jul 1976 the 32 mile long track between Logansport and Culver
was abandoned
| The picture below shows all the six lots and easement that make up the
Schults Subdivision which was the Vandailia railroad right of way.
Also the numbering system for this area varied from numbers to numbers and also and
some had a "TBA" (to be announced) |
