Special to the Daily news - Greenville, O. -July 29 - Word had been received in this city of the death of A. P. Jenks at his home in Logansport, Ind., Saturday oif heart trouble. Mrs. Elizabeth McCauguhey Jenks, widow of A. P. Jenks formerly cashier of the City National Bank,
died Tuesday evening at 6:15 at her home, 1300 North Street, aged sixty-six years.
Mrs Jenks, who for a long time had been a sufferer from asthma which made it necessary for her to spend the heated term at the northern lake resorts, was in fairly good health until a few days ago when she began to fail and passing o coming as a shock to her friends.
Her daughters Mrs. Carl McClung of Cincinnati and Miss Ada Jenks who made her home with her mother were at her bedside at her passing.
Mrs. Jenks was born in Logansport, the daughter of James W. and Elizabeth Sombardo McCaughey who were prominent on Logansport business and social circles
Mrs. Jenks and her late husband were life long members of the Broadway M. E. Church and throughout their lives were workers and supporters of that church.
She is survived by here two daughters Mrs. McClung of Cincinnati and Miss Ada Jenks of this city and a half-brother Newton McGaughey of Geneva, O. Deceased was a member of Fidelity chapter No. 58, Order of Eastern Star being a past matron, having served as Matron 1909-1910.
The funeral will be held Friday morning at 10:30 from the residence, conducted by Rev. Preston of Broadway M. E. church.
Burial will take place in Mt. Hope cemetery
Fidelity Chapter No. 58, Order of Eastern Star will hold its ritualistic funeral service at the home 1300 North Street, Thursday evening, April 3 at 7:30 p.m. - Logansport Pharos-Tribune.

NEW SHREWSBURY -- Mrs. Frances M. McClung, 83, of 15 Edgebrook Ct., died Sunday
in Patterson Army Hospital, Fort Monmouth.
Born in Logansport, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Almon P. and Elizabeth J enks. She was the widow of Carl H. McClung.
Surviving are a son, Lt. Col. James A. McClung (USA-Ret.), and a sister, Mrs. Ada Belle Jenks, both of this place.
The funeral service will be tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the John W. Flock Funeral Home, Long Branch, with Rev. J. Courtney Hayward of St. Luke's Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. -Red Bank Register, Tues., Sept. 25, 1962

Carl Hartman McClung, aged 66 died this morning at his home 28 SOuth Lake Dr., Elberon, after
being in failing health for the past six years.
He was a former resident of Cincinnati, O., where he owned and operated a number of hotels.
He had lived in Elberon for the past three years.
The son of the Late James and Margaret McClung, he was born in ROchester, Ind.
He was a life member of the OHio Hotel Association, of which he had been secretary for eight years.
He is survived by his wife, Frances May Jenks McCLung and one sone Capt. James A. McClung, both of Elberon.
Funeral arrangements are in charge of the John W. Flock Funeral Home, Long Branch. The Daily Record Dec 19, 1944 Long Branch New Jersey.

Death of Carl H. McClung Occured At Home in Elberon, N. J.
Greenville Friends will be sorry to learn of the passing of Carl H. McClung, who died at his home in Elberon, New Jersey, December 19.
He was well known int OHio and Indiana as a hotel operator and while here he and his family had a lar ge circle of friends who will be sorry to learn of hois passing.
Mr. McCLung is survived by his widow and a son, Captasin James McClung, who is stationed at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey.
Temporary burial took place at Long Branch, New Jersey. The remains will later be removed to the family burial grounds at Logansport., Indiana - The Daily Advocate Jan 05, 1945 Greenville Ohio.
