"Dell" Wells, Former Resident, Dies At Age 95

Colonel Ellsworth (Dell) Wells, 95, died SUnday morning, May 12 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Hellen Timmons in Riverside, and came to Indiana as a child, living most of is life in the Culver area.

He went to California 16 years ago Married Jan. 1, 1893 to Nora E. Davis of Culver who passed away June 6, 1958, he was employed as a yard man at Culver Military Academy for many years and attended the E.U.B. Cgurcg b Culver.

Surviving with Mrs. Timmons are another daughter Mrs. Dessie Cook of FOrt Wayne; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren, and many cousins in the Culver COmmunity.

Services are being held this afternoon at the Graham FUneral Home in Riversinde with interment there.< - May 15 1963 Citizen

Mrs. Nora Wells, FOrmer Culver Resident Dies

Mrs. Nora Ethel Wells, 78 a former Culver resident, died Thursday moroning, June 5, at a hospital in riverside, Calif.

Mrs Wells was born Feb 3, 1880, in FUlton county to Jasper and Nancy Davis.

On Jan. 1 1895 she was married to C. E. Wells who survuves.

Living the greater part of their lives in CUlver, she and her husband moved to Califorina about nine years ago.

She was a member of the Immanuel E.U.B. churchm Culver

Surviving with her hisband are two daughters: Mrs. Timmons of Riverside Calif. and Mrs. Dessie COok of Ft. Wayne; two brothers: Bert Davis of Leiters Ford and Ivan Davis of Sun Prairie, Wis.; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Services and burial took place at Riverside, Calif. - Jun 11 1958 Citizen

Miss Helen Wells, who has been an operator in the Thompson Beauty Parlor for a year, resigned her position on Monday, May 2nd.

Miss Wells has started a beauty parlor in her home on South Main Street and is prepared to do all kinds of first class beauty work.
