Wednesday October 6, 2021 at Bridge Hospice in Bowling Green.
Arrangements are pending at Hoening & Son Funeral Home 133 W. Tiffin St.,
Fostoria.

George was born October 8, 1937 to George H. Posejpal and Helen Podlesak (Filip)
nd was raised in Riverside, Illinois with his sister Evelyn (Lyn).
George graduated high school from Culver Military Academy in Culver, Indiana in 1955
and graduated college from Brown University in Providence Rhode Island in 1959.
George loved his days at Culver Military Academy and bought a home in Culver, Indiana
after his daughter Christine started high school there.
He lived in Culver until 2020 before moving to Fostoria Ohio. George was a great friend
to all his friends, a good dad to his children Chris and George II and to his
step-children Toni, Terri, John and Regina.
He was the overall life of the party at all social events and would always try to make
you laugh or at least smile if he met you.
George is survived by his wife Alma M. (Gonzales-Todd) Posejpal, his sister Lyn Scotillo (Posejpal),
his daughter Christine Esler (Posejpal), son George J. Posejpal II, step-daughter Toni Todd,
step-daughter Terri Chapman (Todd), step-son John Todd, step-daughter Gina Todd, his
half-sister Gigi Posejpal, his half-brother Filip Posejpal and many grandchildren and great
grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father George H. Posejpal, mother Helen Podlesak (Filip) and first
wife Carol J. Posejpal (Lynch).
Visitation will be held at Hoening & Son Funeral Home at 133 West Tiffin Street, Fostoria Ohio
44830 from 2pm to 4pm Monday October 11, 2021.
Funeral service will begin at 4pm with Rev. Joseph Poggemeyer, presiding.

Carol Lynch - Mrs. Wayne Bowles , Mawood has announced the engagement of her daughter to
George J. Posejpal son of Mr. amd Mrs. George H. Posjpal, Riverside. The wedding date has not
been set. Miss Lynch is a graduate of Proviso High School. Her fiance is a graduate of Brown Univeristy
Providence, R. I.

GENEVA - Michelle L. Posejpal, 43 years old, passed away November 18th after her long battle
with ovarian cancer.
Michelle was a volunteer for Home for Endangered and Lost Pets (H.E.L.P), Ovarian Cancer
System Awareness (OCSA), TriCities Mothers of Twins and Triplets Club (TMOTTC), PTO of
Williamsburg Elementary School and Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois.
Michelle was a loving wife and best friend to her husband George, a fantastic mother to their
twins, Zack and Lindsay, and a good friend to many.
Michelle was always willing to help friends and family anytime she was asked. She enjoyed the
occasional glass of wine, music, novels, movies, plays, opera, entertaining friends/family and
being entertained.
Michelle is survived by her husband George Posejpal, her twin children Zachary and Lindsay, her
mother Carole Ginther (wife of Dan) and father Gary Bell (husband of Cindy).
Other survivors include father-in-law George Posejpal
(husband of Alma), mother-in-law Carol Posejpal, sister-in-law Chris Esler (husband of Dave) and
their three children Nate, Catey and Grace.
Other survivors include several Aunt and Uncles-Robert Acosta (husband of Donna), Ruben
Acosta (husband of Cindy), Mike Acosta (husband of Karen), David Acosta, Eddie Acosta (husband
of Sheila), Sue Christoffel (wife of Scott) and Diane Quigley (wife of Doug) and several cousins.
Special mention of her departed Grandfather and Grandmother, Robert and Nieves Acosta.
Visitation will be Friday, November 21st from 3pm to 9pm at Yurs Funeral Home at 1771 W. State St. i
In Geneva with Church Service at 1pm on Saturday, November 22nd at Saint Mark's Church at 320
Franklin in Geneva.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
The family would like to thank CNS Home Health and Hospice, the Cadence Cancer Center of Warrenville,
MD Anderson of Houston Texas, Livingwell Cancer Resource Center, the Staff/Teachers/PTO of
