Culver - Robert E. May , 77, 603 School Street, Culver . died Sunday Nov. 18, 2001 at 3:05 p.m. at Millers Merry Manor Culver

Robert was born Nov 5, 1924 in Culver to Della Stahl and Claude May.

He married Kathyrn Triplet in Culver on Spet 13, 1947. She survives.

Rbert was a retired business owner of the Lakeview Tavern.

He was a llifetime resident of Culver . He worked 13 years at the Studebaker factory in South Bend before owning and operating the Lakeview Tavern in Culver for 40 years. He retired in 1995. He was a member of the Argos American Legion Post No. 68 and the Culver Grace United Church of Christ.

Robert is survived by his wife Kathryn of Culver ; his sons Dr. Fredrick May of Jackson, Miss., and Kim and Beth May of Fort Wayne; his grandson Tyler May of Ft. Wayne and his brother James May of Indianapolis.

He was preceded in death by his father, Claude May; his mother Della May and his sister Eva C. Doll.

Visitation was Thursday, Nov. 22, 2001 from 4 to 8 p.m.

Services are today, Nov. 23, 2001 at 2 p.m.

Burial will follow in the Burr Oak Cemetery in Culver .

Memorials may be given to the Culver Fire Department.
