Lavina Lucetta Rosebaum BIRTH 28 Nov 1912 Argos, Marshall, Indiana DEATH Dec 1978 Plymouth, Marshall, Indiana BURIAL Masonic Cemetery Culver, Marshall County, Indiana daughter of John Lawrence Rosebaum and C lara Ruth Harrell.

    She was owner/co-owner of the Coffee Shoppe during the time period of 1953 - 1965; and possibly cooked there after selling it it for the final time.

    She was also a cook/ktichen help in the Culver Community Schools.

    Floyd A. Triplet CULVER - Services for Floyd A. Triplet, 73, 503 S. Ohio St., Culver, who died at 7:30 a.m. Monday at the residence of his son in Orlando, Fla., will be at 2 p.m.

    Friday at the Union Church of the Brethen, Ind. 17, with Rev. Paul Nye, pastor, officiating. Burial. will be in the Culver Masonic Cemetery.

    Friends may call at the Bonine Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Thursday until noon on Friday and then at the church until time of services.

    He was born Sept. 30, 1905, at Burr Oak, Ind., and lived in this area his entire life.

    He was married July 27, 1928, at Tyner, Ind., to Lavina Rosebaum, who preceded him in death in 1978.

    Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Irene Listenberger and Mrs. Rose Meadows, both of Culver; four sons Donald, P lymouth; Howard, Culver; Robert, Orlando, Fla.; Alvin, Culver; 17 grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Irene Loeffler, Plymouth.

    He was retired from the Culver Military Academy in 1969 - South Bend Tribune Sep 05, 1979

    Donald Triplet(1929–2010)
      Donald W. Triplet, 80, of 8087 Rose Road, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away Friday, January 29, 2010, at 4:20 p.m., at his home.

      Don was born on May 9, 1929, in Marshall County, Indiana, to Floyd and Lavina (Rosebaum) Triplet.

      He married Wanda Voris on October 7, 1949, in the Salem Church. Wanda passed away on December 24, 2000 after sharing 51 years of marriage together.

      Don was the owner of Triplet Construction and Masonry. He retired from Plymouth L.P. Gas, Corporation, w here he delivered propane gas.

      He was a member of the Union Church of the Brethren.

      Don's greatest pleasure came from being a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

      Don is survived by his daughters, Karen and Dick Stettler of Plymouth and Connie and Frank Harrell of Argos, Indiana; his son, Rich and Rhonda Triplet of Bremen, Indiana; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his sisters, Rose Meadows of Bourbon, Indiana and Irene Listenberger of Culver, Indiana.

      He was preceded in death by his brothers; Roy Triplet, Robert Triplet, and Alvin Triplet.


    Irene B Triplet(1931–2010)
      Irene B. Listenberger, 79, of Hibbard, IN passed away at 4:48 AM on Sept 21, 2010 at Our Lady of Peace Hospital in Mishawaka.

      Irene was born on July 25, 1931 near Hibbard, IN. She was one of six children born to Floyd and Lavina (Rosebaum) Triplet.

      She attended school in Hibbard. Irene then fell in love and married Ward "Bud" Listenberger on Jan 31, 1948 in Hibbard. Together they raised 4 children. Ward preceded her in death in November 1989.

      Irene was a longtime cook for the Culver Comm. School Corp., starting at the elementary school and finally retiring from the high school.

      In her earlier years she enjoyed camping and gardening. She was an excellent cook and loved preparing meals for her family. Irene also enjoyed many good times drinking coffee and visiting with friends at Hansen's Restaurant in Culver. She was a very giving lady who will be dearly missed.

      Irene is survived by her sons Terry (Jo Lynn) of Culver and Steven Listenberger of Hibbard; daughter Sandra, also of Hibbard; sister Rose Meadows of Bourbon, grandchildren Mindy (Kelly) Hoffman of Culver and Chad Listenberger of Mishawaka; and great grandchildren Kagnie and Karsen Hoffman of Culver.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Linda Listenberger, brothers Donnie, Roy, Bob, and Alvin Triplet, and grandson Daniel Clark.


    Howard Leroy "Roy" Triplet(1932–2002)
      PLYMOUTH - Howard "Roy" Triplet, 69, of 15006 Peach Road, died at 6:47 p.m. Sunday in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend.

      Survivors include his wife, Daisy (Duncan); two daughters, Carolyn Triplet of Plymouth and Marilyn Hagenbush of Argos; a son, David of Grovertown; two sisters, Rose Meadows of Bourbon and Irene Listenberger of Culver; and a brother, Don of Plymouth.

      Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Van Gilder Funeral Home, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.


    Robert Roscoe Triplet (1934–1997)
      ROBERT R. TRIPLET, 63, Calloway Drive, Orlando, died Thursday, May 22.

      Mr. Triplet was the superintendent for Gomez Contracting Co.

      Born in Culver, Ind., he moved to Central Florida in 1952.

      He was a member of the Church of God. He was an Air Force veteran.

      Survivors: wife, Dorothy: daughters, Deborah Pratt, Valdosta, Ga., Diane Gatewood, Donna Smith, both of Orlando; son, Robert, Orlando; brothers, Donald, Roy, both of Plymouth, Ind.; sisters, Irene Listenburger, Culver, Rose Marie Meadows, Argos, Ind.; 11 grandchildren.
