1927 - May 25 - Two arrested and Fined For Disturbing the Peace - ... and Tuck Swigart waere fined $10.50 each in Judge Voreis court last Monday on the charge of distrubing the peace Sunday. The arrests were made by Marshall Wm/ Murphy

1930 - Oct 1 - Local Man Bound to Circuit COurt; Intoxication Charges - Tuck Swigart was arrested Saturday by Marshal Ed Cook for driving on Lake Shore Drive wile intoxicated. He was bound over to the circuit court.

1930 - Nov. 5 - Swigart Returns - "Tuck" Swigart, will known business man in the north par of town has returned from a 30-day visit with firned and others in Pendleton, Ind.

1931 - Apr 15 - Arrested For Intoxication - Tuck Swigart was arrested last wwek for public intoxication. He was fined by P Plymouth justice of the peace.

1931 - 2 Sep - The coolest strech of walk in town is the vlock between the Slattery and Curtis croners where the 40-year old soft maple trees form an arcade through which thers is always a cool draft almost untouched by the faintest gleam of sunshine. Perhaps the next coolest spot is the Tuck Swigart corner.

Swigart Sells Lot to Gafill Oil Co.

Another gsoline service station is to be built in Culver as the result of a recent transaction whereby the Gafill OIl Co., bought the "Tuck" Swigart property at the corner of Main Street and Lakeshore Drive.

The house remains the property of Mr. Swigart, who plans to move it to the lot north of the D. W. Marks house.

This lot the Swigarts purchased of Mrs. Sarah Korr-Freeland, of LaPorte.

This one of the oldest in town and at one time was occupied by Dr. Rea and later by Nathaniel Gandy, father of Mrs. Swigart.

The Gafill Company announces that it does no plan to build on the lot until next year, but Mr. Swigart plans to move the house in the near future. Jul 12 1933

abt. 12 Jul. 1933 sold to Gafill Oil Company to build Gas Station in 1934 on it ; The house was moved to Lot 55 that was owned by Sarah E. Freeland (and Charles) to Augusta Swigart, which is now 411 N. Lake Street.

Two strikes fatal to Mrs. Augusta Swigart

Mrs. Marion Augusta Swigart, age 67 years of age, died at her home Monday after a short illness. She suffered a stroke of paralysis on Friday and a second attack on Sunday.

She is survived by the widower, Irvin Swigart.

Mrs Swigart was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and lived most of her life in the Gandy Corner residence at Main Street and Lake Shore Drive.

Funeral Services were held this afternoon in Easterday's Chapel, Rev. Richard Pengilly officiating.

Internment was in the Culver Masonic Cemetery

"Tuck Swigart Died At Annderson Sunday

Daniel Irvin ("Tuck") Swigart age 61 years died sudddenly at his home in Anderson Ind., Sunday noon.

He was born in Burroak and lived in this communtiy all his early life.

He moved to Anderson two years ago, where he was a member of the Eagles lodge.

Surivivn are one broter, William of Culver; and many other relative and friends.

Funeral services were held this afternnon at Easter day's Chapel with internemet in the local Masonic cemetery. - - 9 Nov. 1938
