Possibly Charles O. Howlett there is ads into the mid 1950's for Howlett Motors at 111 S Walnut St. Plymouth and he is listed as Vice President of the Marshall County Automobile Dealers Association, Inc. in an ad in the Citizen on June 2, 1948

Charles A. Howlett, 66, of 737 Thayer St., died Friday in Parkview Hospital, after a five-day illness.

He was born Nov. 17, 1901, in Havre De Grace, Md., and had lived in Plymouth for 27 years.

He was associated with the L.E. Myers Engineer Co., St. Louis, Mo., was a former Buick dealer in Plymouth and had worked for the State Highway Department for six years. He was a Navy veteran of World War I and II, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and Moose Lodge, all of Plymouth, and the Elks Lodge of Rochester.

He was a member of the Indiana State Real Estate Commission and a former member of the Rotary Club.>

On Feb. 5, 1927, in Greenfield, he married Lena Shepherd. She survives with a daughter, Miss Shirley Ann Howlett, at home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Johnson Funeral Home, with Rev. William C.R. Sheridan officiating. Burial will be in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
