On Novermber 9, 1943, he married Ernestine Kreischer.
Mr. FLoyd had been a millwirght and a Batist Minister.
He is survied bu his wife Ernestine; children: Robert Allan Floyd of Mesa Arizona,
Lonny Dale Floyd of Westville, Oklahoma, Ronald Leroy Floyd of Springdale,
Arizona, Lynda Jill Floyd of Knox, Indiana, Pamela Dian Floyd of Mederyville
Indiana and Clara Ernestine Floyd of Plymouth Indiana; twnety-three
grandchildren, thrity three great grandchildren and one sister Myrtal Arlene
SOlo fo Francesville, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters.
Services were hel Tuesday June 24 at M. C. Smith Funeral Home, Knox.
Burial was in the Crown Hill cemetery, Knox.

Ernestine Clara Floyd, age 88, of Knox, passed away Friday, February 20, 2015 at Fountain
View Terrace Nursing Home in LaPorte.
Ernestine was born November 28, 1926 in Leiters Ford, Indiana to Charles Curtis Kreischer
and Clara Ann Schaffer Kreischer, both deceased.
On November 9, 1943, in Valparaiso, Indiana, she married Norman Allan Floyd, he preceded
her in death on June 25, 2011.
Ernestine moved to Knox from Gary in 2004 and regularly attended the First Baptist Church
of Knox.
She is survived by her children, Robert Allan Floyd of Gilbert, AZ, Lonny Dale Floyd of
Westville, OK, Ronald Leroy Floyd of Knox, Lynda Jill Floyd of Knox, Pamela Dian Floyd of
Knox, and Clara Ernestine Floyd of Philadelphia, TN. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren,
46 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by 6 sisters, 4 brothers, and a grandson.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 1:00pm (CT), with visitation two
hours prior to services at M.C. Smith Funeral Home.
Interment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox.
