Dr. George F. Henricks, who has been associated with Dr. Roy Pownall in Plymouth since March.
has purchased the residence and dental equipment of Dr. R. E. Martin on Lake Shore Drive,
Culver.
After remodeling the building, Dr. Hendricks will move his family, consisting of Mrs.
Henricks and 10 year old son, from Lafayette to Culver. He expects that it will be sevearl weeks
before he will be able to open his office here.
Dr. Martin and family recently moved to Washington.
1953 - Jul 8 - Dr. George Henricks To Attend Dental Meetings in Europe
Dr. George F. Henricks, Culver dentist, will leave Chicago tomorrow by plane for Europe where
as a member of the American Dental Association he will attend a series of international dental
conferences during the next five weeks
A most interesting trip is suggested by the intinerary. Arriving in New York he will board a
Scandanavian airlines plabe for Europe. Stops are scheduled at Gander, Newfoudland, and
Hamberg Germany before arriving in Frankfurt, Germany, on Friday.
At Frankfort, Dr. Henricks will board a Swiss Airlines plave for Geneva, Switzerland, where he
will a ttend the ARPA Internationale 12th Congress from July 12-19. The day following the
close of he first conference the Culver Dentist will leave for a side trip to Miland and Florece,
Italy
On Jul 24 he will leave Florence by train for Zurich Switzerland where he will board a plane for
Copenhagen, Denmark and Oslo, Norwy. At Oslo he will attend the Federation Dentaire
Internationale from July 26 to Augs 2. From Oslo Dr Henricks will go by train to Bergen where
he will attend the American Dental Association Society of European Conference from Aug. 4
to 7.
He will return to Culver on Aug. 14.

Henrietta Henricks, 99 of Huntington and formerly of North Webster died at 3:25 PM on Saturday, February
3, 2007 at The Heritage of Huntington.
She was a 1925 graduate of Clear Creek High School and was a graduate of International Business College in Fort Wayne.
She had worked as a foreman at Memcor E-Systems in Huntington. She bowled in a Roanoke Bowling League for several
years. She also was a seamstress and painter and she loved to travel.
She was born on October 23, 1907 in Huntington County, a daughter of Henry and Minnie Belle (Harper) Clapp. She was
united in marriage to Warren Rankin on February 2, 1941 in Huntington, he preceded her in death in 1942. Her second
marriage was to Dr. George Henricks on July 19, 1958 in Huntington, he preceded her in death on June 12, 1986.
Survivors include a stepson: David Henricks of Dayton, OH, a sister: Mrs. Geneva Heeter of Huntington, a brother: Kenneth
Clapp of North Manchester, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five
brothers: Herbert Clapp, Park Clapp, Donald Clapp, Royal Clapp and Frank Clapp.
A private family visitation and funeral service will be held at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Gus Hacker
officiating.
Interment will be at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Huntington.
