Beulah B. “Bee” Sundstrom nee Burkholder, July 6, 2015, Age 97. Late of Hazel Crest, formerly
of Flossmoor.
Beloved wife of the late Richard Sundstrom.
Dear mother of Richard (Jeanne) Sundstrom, Laurie (Herbert) Rentschler and Sally (Robert) Barnes.
Cherished grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 14. Loving sister of the late Dorothy Burkholder.
Founding member of The Village Artists.
Long time member of Flossmoor Country Club and a former golf champion. Former member of Flossmoor Service
League and P.E.O. Sisterhood. An avid bridge player and dedicated life-long artist.
A Celebration of Bee’s life will be held July 28th, at Flossmoor Country Club from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Former Steel firm President dies in Area
Richard Sundstrom of Hazel Crest, past president and chairman of the board of SUndstrom Presses
Steel compan in Chicago, died Saturday in South Sububan HOspital, Hazel Crest.
He was born March 11, 1914 in Chicago and lived 38 years in Flossmoor.
The Rev. David Ownes, pastor of Flossmorr Community church, presided at services Tuesday at Tews
Funeral Home, HOmewood.
Burial was in Oak Woods cemetery in Chicago.
Mr. Sundstrom was amemebr of the Flossmoor Volunteer Fire Department, Flossmoor elementary school
board; Homewood Neighbor Lodge 1169, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons; Flossmoor COuntry Club, and
Quail Ridge COntry Club at Boynton Beach, Fla.
He was a fromer trustee of Glenwood School for Boys and originator of Glenwood pro-am golf tournament
to benefit the school.
He is survived by his wife Beulah (Bee); two daughters: Lauried Rentschler and Sally Barnes both of
Flossmoor;one son Richard S. of Flossmoor; one brother Gustacv A. and seven grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Glenwwod school for Boys or a charity of donor's chice.
