Arthur Kiesling Dies At 92
Arthur W. Kiesling, 92. 1101 North St.. died at 11:50 a.m. Sunday at Memorial Hospital.
Born April 6, 1885. in Cass County, he was the son of Christian and Caroline Grafmeyer Kiesling.
He was married April 24, 1909 to Bettte Grace, who died Sept. 8.1967.
He was a retired part owner of Kiesling Brothers. He was a member of St. James Lutheran
Church, the Eagles and was the second oldest living member of the Elks,
Surviving are one son, William H.. 1229 High St.; one daughter, Foyvelle Myers. 927 North St.: three
brothers. Walter, 314 E. Linden Ave.; Thurman. Fenton. Mich.; and Chris. Sacramento, Calif.: one
sister. Dorothy Newer. 305 W. Linden Ave.; four grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Kroegce Funeral Home with the Rev. Nathan Gruel
officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery.

William H. Kiesling Services for William H. Kiesling, 84, of 1229 High St., will be
held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Kroeger Funeral Home.
Mr. Kiesling died at 4:30 a.m. today, Feb. 9,1998, at his residence.
Born Aug. 22, 1913, in Logansport, he was the son of Arthur W. and Bette
Grace Bay Kiesling. On July 26,1936, In Logansport, he was married to
Onelda E. Snyder, who survives.
Mr. Kiesling was a member of Ninth Street Christian Church. He also was
a member of the Logansport Elks Lodge.
He retired as secretary of Kiesling Brothers and was an avid sportsman.
Mr. Kiesling attended Purdue University, where he was a member of the
Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, William E. and Connie L.
Kiesling, Logansport; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen A. and Ron Flickinger,
Fort Wayne; one sister, Foyvelle Myers, Logansport; four grandchildren, Ron Flickinger
II, Broomfield, Colo., John Flickinger, Fort Wayne, Tim Kiesling, Lansing, Mich., and
Sara Kiesling, Manchester College, North Manchester; and several nieces
and nephews.
The Rev, Jim Beaumont will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Mount Hope
Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, where an Elks
service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ninth Street Christian Church. - 9 feb 1998
