    Frederick D. Hizer, 63, R.R. 2, Kewanna, was dead on arrival at Pulaski Memorial Hospital at 9 p.m. Monday.

    Mr. Hizer was the son of Daniel F. and Anna Herrold Hizer and was born July 19, 1908, at Grass Creek.

    His marriage was to Mariam Hines on May 5, 1940, at Washington. She survives.

    Mr. Hizer was the former owner of the Hizer hatchery in Grass Creek. He was a member of the Grass Creek United Methodist church, the Kewanna Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend, and the Marott Temple in Indianapolis, and the Kewanna O.E.S.

    Surviving are one son, Allen F., Valparaiso; two daughters, Miss Joyce E, Connecticut, and Mrs. Cyntia Dixon, Bloomington; one sister, Mrs. Icel Shindledecker, Grass Creek.

    One daughter preceded in death.

    Final rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Grass Creek United Methodist church. The Rev. Riley WALKER will officiate and burial will be in the Grass Creek Cemetery.

    Friends may call after 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Harrison Garden Chapel in Kewanna and one hour before services at the church. O.E.S. of Kewanna will conduct memorial services in the chapel at 8 p.m. Wednesday and the Masonic Lodge will conduct graveside services.
