Nello Farneti

Nello Farneti, former owner of A. Farneti & Sons Beer Distributors, died Friday at South Suburban Hospital.

The Flossmoor resident was 79.

Mr. Farneti was a retired director of Riverdale Bank and past president of the Roseland Lions Club.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby; two daughters, Judy Johnston and Linda Thomas; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Tews Funeral Home, 18230 S. Dixie Highway, Homewood.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home.

Ruby L. Farneti, nee Dunlap, 95, of Flosssmoor, passed away June 23, 2008.

Interment was June 25, 2008.

Beloved wife of the late Nello Farneti; dear mother of Judy (Gene) Johnston and Linda (Skip) Thomas; grandmother of Tracey and Courtney Thomas.
