during the last years it was owned by the three Vonnegut children; Kurt Jr. and his 1st wife Jane honeymooned at the cottage just before it was sold in 1945 to the concert master of the Indianapolis Symphony.

2002 - Phoenix Crystal Corp. of Ann Arbor, Michigan, an industrial supplier of diamond abrasives and cutting tools, is commercially treating gem diamonds using a standard belt-type press His facility has both decolorized brown type IIa diamonds and produced a range of colors in type I diamonds.

Worthington, Ohio, February 19, 2004. Diamond Innovations (formerly GE Superabrasives) and Phoenix Crystal Corporation announced that Diamond Innovations will acquire Phoenix Crystal’s polycrystalline diamond cutter (PDC) intellectual property nd physical assets. Under the agreement reached between the two companies, Diamond Innovations will assume production of Phoenix Crystal’s polycrystalline drilling products serving the oil and gas markets. It was further agreed that Dr. Robert H. Frushour, CEO of Phoenix Crystal Corporation, will act as a consultant to Diamond Innovations. Additional terms of the deal were not disclosed.
