Mrs. Clara Viola Morrow Passes Away Saturday
Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Viola Morrow, age 72, were held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Grace
Evangelical and Reformed Church where she was a member. Dr. Meredith Sprunger officiated and burial
was at the Culver cemetery.
Mrs. Morrow passed away at her home in Culver Saturday afternoon after a six months illness.
Born near Culver, she had lived in Terre Haute and Indianapolis a number of years, returning to Culver
in 1930.
She had been an employee of the Culver Military Academy for 20 years.
She was united in marriage to Charles Morrow of Terre Haute in 1900.
Surviving are five sisters: Mrs. Anna Mattingly and Mrs. Emma Wollpert of St. Petersburg, Florida; Mrs.
Lula Miller and Mrs. Lena Lavo, South Bend and Mrs. Tina Sissel, Rochester; four brothers: James Jones,
St. Petersburg, Florida; Jesse Jones Plymouth; Carl Jones, South Bend and Willard Jones, Mishawaka; one

Charles Morrow, 52, Passed Away Saturday
Charles Morrow, age 52, passed away at the home of Mrs. Aaron Jones Saturday morning, May 14, of complications.
He had been sick for several weeks.
Short funeral services were held at the Easterday chapel Sunday afternoon at one o'clock, with Rev. Harvey E.
Harsh conducting.
The body was taken to Terre Haute that afternoon, and funeral services were held at the United Brethern church
in that city Monday morning with Rev. Todd, pastor of the church officiating.
Burial was in the family lot in the Woodlawn cemetery *.
Those who survive are his widow, Mrs. Ola Jones Morrow, whom he married at the Grace Reformed church in this
city about thirty-five years ago; one son, Russell of Indianapolis; and his mother, Mrs. Addie Morrow of Terre
