    Robert Finley Harper, age, 33, of 822 East 7th Street, Auburn, died Wednesday morning at the Veteran's Hospital in Fort Wayne following a illness of six weeks.

    Mr. Harper was born in Cleveland, Ohio. on March 18, 1925, moved to Culver with his parents when an infant and spent his entire life here until three years ago when he moved to Auburn where he was a teacher in the Junior High School.

    Mr. Harper graduated from Culver Military Academy in 1943 and attended Indiana University for three years. He graduated from Manchester College, North Manchester in 1955. During World War II he served as Staff Sgt. in the Infantry in the Eurropean Theatre. He was a member of the AUburn Methodist Church and the Auburn American Legion Post.

    Survivin are his widow, Coleen; three Children, Philip Wendel, Jam Michele and May Lynn all at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh H. Harper, Culver; three sisters, Mrs. Betty Ashworth, Carlisle, Pa; Mrs. Evelyn Anda, Seattle Wash. and Mrs. Mary Kathryn Ott, Lincoln, Nebr.

    Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the methodist churfh in AUburn with Rec. Clbert Clarke, pastor of the church, officiating, after which he was brought to the Easterday Funeral Homer in Culver.

    Services were held her at two o'clock Saturday at the Methodist Church with Rev. Clarke officiating. Burial was at the Culver Masoonic Cemetery. - may 7 1958 Citizen
