By 1979 it was converted to individual rental apartments known as the "Culver Arms" It was converted to individual rental apartments possibly as early as the late 1970's or the 1980's then it again stood empty again for a period of time.

In 1993 a section of the motel rooms were razed to make addtional parking space for Papa's resturant next door.
