Howard Thomas Manion, 80, died at 11:45 AM, Tuesday, May 21, 1996, at
Jasper County Hospital, Rensselaer.
Born Nov. 6, 1915, in Francesville, he was a life-long resident.
His marriage was to Frances Koebcke on May 6, 1937, at Michigan City;
she survives.
Mr. Manion was a residential contractor for 50 years, retiring in 1970.
He was a member of Francesville United Methodist Church, and Ducks
Unlimited. He served in the Army during World War II.
Surviving with his wife are four sons, James Manion of Mesa, AZ, Fred
Manion of Monticello, William Manion of Fort Wayne, and Howard Lee
Manion of Francesville; a brother, Joseph Manion of Elko, NV; ten
grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Frances Louise (Koebcke) Manion, 83, of Francesville, died at 9:15 PM Saturday, Feb. 27,
1999, in St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette.
Born April 27, 1915, in Francesville, she was a homemaker, and a lifelong resident of the
area.
Her marriage was to Howard Manion on May 5, 1937, in Michigan City. He preceded her
in death on May 21, 1996.
Mrs. Manion was a member of Francesville United Methodist Church, Town and Country
Club, and the Pink Ladies.
Surviving are four sons, James Manion of Gilbert, AZ; Fred Manion of Rochester, MN;
William Manion of Fort Wayne; and Howard Manion of Francesville; ten grandchildren,
and eleven great-grandchildren.
