An open house will be held Sunday, Oct. 19, honoring Mr. and Mrs. O. T. Smith of 918 West
Shore Drive, Culver, in observance of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith were married Oct. 20, 1919 and have lived their entire married life in Culver.
They have one daughter, Mrs. H. J.
(Julia) Zacharias and three grandchildren of Indianapolis. Mr. and Mrs. Zacharias, Scott, Kent and
Lynn will be the hosts for the open house which will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Culver Inn. No
formal invitations are being sent but all friends and relatives are invited.

Culver - Daisy J. Smith, 80, of 918 West SHore Drive died at 10 a.m. at the Garfield Nursing Home
iin Indianapolis.
She was born Oct 25 1897 Marshall county where shw was a lifetime resident.
She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution.
She was worth mation of the EMily J. Culver Chapter Order of Eastern Star.
On Oct 20 1919 in Plymouth she married Ora T. Smith, who died in 1970.
Surviving are a son-in-law of IIndianapols, and three grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Nonine Funeral Home. Rev. Donald Bowman, pastor of Wesley
United Methodist Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Culver Masonic Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church.
