1955 - Sep 13 - the edition of the Evening Review East Liverpools, Ohio reported that Dr. Ikirt was staring an osteopathic paractice in Culver, Indiana, and had
received his batchelor of science degree at Davis and Elkins College at ELkins W. Va. in 1950 and took his professional training at the Kansas City College of
Osteopathic Medicine & Surgery. He represetned the fourth generation of his family to practice medicine.

medical center erected at the southeast corner of Cass and Ohio Streets, just a block south of the school building.

Ikirt of La Mirada, Calif.
Dr. Ikirt, 60 died suddenly Feb. 2 while visiting in Tuscon, Ariz.
He wa born Sept 22, 1922 in Bridgeport, a son of the late Dr. Frank H. Ikirt and Mae Mooner Ikirt. He was the
grandson of the late George P. Ikirt of East Liverpool who served in Congress.
Dr. Ikirt is survived by his wife Eleanor Ikirt, at home; five sons: Frank Ikirt of Chicago, Randall Ikirt of Scottsdale,
Ariz., Jeffery Ikirt of Tuscon, Mark Ikirt serving with the U.S. Navy and Steven Ikirt of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; two sisters
Mrs. John W. Maxine) Covert of Walnut Grove, Calif. and Mrs. Lee (Mary) Tuton of Rowland Heights, Calif.; and six
grandchildren.
Services were held in Scottsdale.
The Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester is in charge of local arrangements. Services will be conducted Monday by Dr. H.
Geen Toot, and no calling hours are scheduled.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Kansas City (Mo.) Osteopathic Medical College, from which
Dr. Ikirt received his medical degree.
