    Services for Richard W. Gohl., 87, 3040 N. Pennsylvania Ave, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Kroger funeral home

    Mr. Gohl died at 4:35 p.m. Suday Aug. 24, 1992 in his residence.

    Born Sept 1, 1909 in Logansport, he was the son of Edeawd H. and Grace Pickell Gohl.

    On Aug. 25, 1939 he was married to Jean E. Dale who died Dec. 30 1975.

    Mr. Gohl was retired for county government. He held the elected positions of Cass county Treasurer, Cass county Auditoer, Calss couny Assessor, and was also a county councilman.

    He was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air corps.

    He was a me,ber of Clavary Presbyterian church, Orient Masonic Lodhe $232, Indianapolis Scotish Rite, Indianapolis Murat Shrine and the Logansport hrine Club; Logansports Elks, Eagles, American Legion Post 60 and the Disabled American Veterans

    Mr. Gohl was a graduate of Logansport High School and Pudue Univeristy, where he was a member of APlpha Tau Omega social fraternity and Sigma Delta Psi athletic fraternity.

    He had been a member of the Cass county council and the Cass county Plan commission; Past President of the Indiana AUditor's Association.

    Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law Barbara and Dennis Fleming, Chicago Heights, Ill.; one son-in-law Donal Hope Naprles, Fla; foru grandchildren: Elizabeth Pitera, Richard G. Hope, Jean E. Fleming and Kelly G. FZleming, 1 nieces Nadine Bostick.

    One daughter Sally A Hope; one brother Keith Gohl; 1 sister Loris Love and 1 nephew Jack Brown preceded him in death.

    The Rev. DOug Mankell will officiate at the services.

    Burial with military gonors will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

    Fiends may call from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.

    Memorial contibutions may be made to Cass County Historical Society or Calvary Presbyterian Church.

    Mrs. Jeam E. Gohl, 61, of 3046 N. Pennsylvania Ave. died at 4:45 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Hosptial of an apparent heart attack.

    She was the wife of RIchard W. Gohl, former county assessor, treasurer, audito and councilman-at-large.

    Born in Logansport, Jun 5, 1914 she was the daughter of John E. and Georgia Gallahan Dale.

    SHe was married Aug. 25, 1939 to Richard W. Gohl.

    She was a member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church.

    Surviving wiith her husband are two daughters: Mrs. Sally Hope Farmingotn, Mich. and Mrs. Barbara Flemming Lansing, Ill.; four sisters: Mrs. Virgiia Strong 2908 High St.; Mrs. Ruth Ward Kennet sqaure Pa.; Mrs. Margaret Holllmes Sandusky Ohio and Mrs Cora May Green Wilmigton Del.' one brother James, Samdusky and two grandchildfren. One brother and one sister preceded hier in death.

    Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Kroeger Funeral HOme with the Rev. Earl Davidson officiating. Burial will be in the Mr. Hope Cemtery.

    Firends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 0 p.m. Wednesday.
