Culver - Funeral Services for Joseph N. Clyne, 78, 952 West shore dr.,
Culver will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s of the lake catholic
church, Culver
He died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday at a hospital in Mesa, Ariz., following
a brief illness.
Born Nov 18, 1899, in Walpole, mass., he was the son of Robert and Annie
McDonald clyne. He was married in 1928 in Logansport to Margaret Minnema,
who survives.
A resident of Lake Maxinkuckee, Culver , since 1957, he was a member of
the lake Maxinkuckee Association, St. Mary’s of the lake catholic church
and the knights of Columbus. He was a retired sales engineer and a World
war I veteran.
Surviving with the wife are three sons, Joseph, Tempe, Ariz; and Alan
and Philip both of Indianapolis; three daughters, Susanne Switzer,
Sunman; Elizabeth Roth, Denver, Colo; and Kathleen Berindei, Fort Wayne;
two sisters, Christine Walsman, Batesville and Marvel Johnson,
Alton, Ill. and 18 grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Culver Masonic cemetery. friends may call at the
Bonnine funeral Home, Culver , after 23 p.m. Monday. Rosary will be at
7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of

Margaret M. Clyne - Culver - Margaret M. Clyne, 78 of 952 West Shore Dr.,
died at 6 p.m.Wednesday in St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne.
She was born Aug. 1 1905 in Logansport. In Septemner 1928, she was
married to Joseph N. Clyne who died in 1978.
She retired as a secretary at Culver Military Academy in 1971. She was
secretary of the Lkae Maxinkuckee Association for several years and
was a member of St. Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church and the Kappa
Kappa Kappa soroity in Culver.
Surviving are three daughters, Sue Switzer, Sunman; Jane Roth Littleton,
Colo. and Kathleen Berindei Fort Wayne. three sones: Joe D, Phoenix,
Ariz., Alan and Philip both of Indianapolis; a sister Beth Minneman,
Logansport, a brother, C. J. Minneman, Culver; 17 grandchildren and
seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in St. MAry's of the Lake Catholic
church, with the Rev. Matthew Kafka officiating. Burial qwill be in
the Culver Masonic cemetery.
Freinds may call after 2 p.m. Friday in Bonine Funeral Home, where
rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. - Jun 14, 1984 Logansport Pharos
