Dr. Harvey R. "Bud" age 59, a lifelong Crown Point resident passed away Monday, September 11, 1989.

Survivors: wife, Joyce; two sons, Dr. Eric Smith of Cleveland, Ohio and Dr. Kirk Smith of Crown Point; one daughter, Janet Smith of Valparaiso; two sisters, Janet (Dr. Donald) Faulkner of Hammond and Mary (Dr. Joe) Sewell of Crown Point; five nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 14, 1989, 1 p.m. at the First Presbeyterian Church of Crown Point with Rev. Robert E. Eversull officiating.

Burial Maplewood Cemetery, Crown Point. Friends may call at the Pruzih and Little Funeral Service, 811 E. Fransician Dr., Crown Point from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Dr. Smith was a veterinarian in Crown Point for 31 years, following in the footsteps of his fathers, Dr. C. H arvey Smith and grandfather, Dr. J.W. Smith.

Past-President of the Calumet Area Veterinary Medical Association; member of the. Veterinary Medical Associaiton; American Veterinarian Association; Association of Equine Practioners; Dean's Club, Purdue University; Culver Legion and the First Presbeyterian Church of Crown Point.
