    Willia Brixius, 73, Expires At Residence William W. Brisius, 73. a retired local grocer, died at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at his home, 1902 George street. A native of this city, he was born June 19, 1891, to William P. and Christina (Riesberger) Brixius. He operated a grocery here for 37 years prior to his retirement. He is survived by a son. Ernest A., 1902 George street: a sister. Mrs. Stella Fohrer. 808 High street: and a nephew. His wife, Svivia, preceded him in death July 19, 1940.     Mrs. Sylvia Brixius Walton, Ind., July 20 _Tribune Area Special) - Mrs. Sylvia Brixius, 57, navtive of Walton community and wive of William Brixius, died at her home in Logansport at 11 o'clock Thursday night, after an illness of one year.

    She was the daughter of Nathan and Sarah Fawber, two miles north of Walton.

    She was a member of the Presbyterian church and War Mothers of World War No. 2.

    Surviving besides the husband are one son, Ernest, who is in the South Pacific, and one sister Mrs. Clara Craig of Tacoma, Wash.

    Funeral services will be held at the Miller-Chase funeral home in Logansport at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon, followed by burial in Walton Cemetery. -- Kokomo Tribune Jul 21 1945

      MR. ERNEST A. BRIXIUS, 56, 2005 N. Murdock Blvd., died Wednesday following an automobile accident.

      Born in Logansport, Ind., he moved to Orlando in 1955.

      He was a tavern owner, a veteran of World War I, member of VFW, American Legion and BPOE 1079.

      Mr. Brixius was affliated with the Baptist Church.

      Wife, Mrs. Margaret E. Brixius, survive.
