    Heart Attack Fatal To Former Summer Resident
      Fleming W. Johnson of Terre Haute, Ind., former summer resident here at Lake Maxinkuckee, passed away last week, it has been learned.

      Death was attributed to a heart attack. News of Mr. Fleming's death was contained in a letter from Mrs. Maurice Obenauf or Cuyahoga Falls Ohio.

      Mrs. Obenauf Writes in part as follows:
        "Many of the people of Culver and "old timers" among the cottagers may be interested to know of the death of Fleming W. Johnson of Terre Haute, who passed away this week. He was in his early fifties.

        "The Johnson family came to the Lake for many years and their cottage was the first one north of the present M. R. Robinson Cottage on Long Point.

        Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, a son a daughter and a sister, Miss Marjory Johnson." - November 12, 1952


      Fleming W. Johnson
        Fleming W. Johnson, Terre Haute buisness mand and civic leader, died at his residence, 250 South Twenty-first street, at 10:15 o'clock Wednesay night. He was 53 years old

        Mr. Johnson suffered a heart attack about three weeks ago and only two days ago was returned to his home fr om the hospital

        He was president and founder of the F. W. JohnsonCompany, Inc., an air conditioning and heating firm at 412 North Seventh street.

        A member of the ST. STephen's Episcopal church, he was also an active member of the Country Club of Terre Haute, the Rotary CLud and the Terre Haute ELks Lodge.

        Mr. Johnson was scretary of the Board of the Cemetery Regents at the time of his death.

        He graduated from the Indiana University School of Business in 1932, where he was a member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity.

        Surviving are the widow, Beatrice; a daughter Miss Mary Alice Johnson and a son, Fleming Brenton Johnson, both students at Indiana University; and a sister Miss Marjory Johnson of Terre Haute.

        The b ody was taken to t he P. J. Ryan & SOns Funeral HOme where services will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning. Rev Thomas Mabley will officiate with burial in Highland Lawn Cemetery.

        Terre Haute Lodge 35m B.P.O.E. Elks, will conduck a memorial services and 7:30 o'clock Friday eveming at the Ryan CHapel.
